A collection is a table: entries are rows, the fields marketing added are columns, and everyone editing it can see everyone else.
What changes.
- Self-hosted or hosted
- The same product either way. Deploy it to your own account as a Worker with your own database and storage, or let us run it and keep the option open.
- Roles and publish permissions
- Permissions are set per collection, so the people who can change the pricing page are not necessarily the people who can change the blog.
- An audit log
- Who changed what, and when, recorded in the product rather than reconstructed from database timestamps after the fact.
- Analytics that stays put
- Events route through your own infrastructure by design. There is no third-party pixel to get past a privacy review, and no consent banner to add.
- Read the source
- The whole thing is open source. Security review means reading the code rather than filling in a questionnaire about it.
